Disc Screen Classifier

Robust equipment with easy access for maintenance, designed for continuous operation and precise dosing.

The disc screen classifier is an equipment designed to receive and perform the physical classification of biomass by size. It creates a main fraction destined for the industrial process and separates particles that exceed the acceptable granulometry of the system, eliminating them through a reject duct. This size separation is essential to ensure that only particles with the proper dimensions reach the boiler, avoiding system damage and maintaining combustion efficiency.

The classification is carried out by trapezoidal discs, which can be manufactured in carbon steel, Hardox or, in special cases, stainless steel. The shafts are built with solid square bars, and the gears are made of 1045 carbon steel with induction hardening.

These screens are capable of separating residues such as wood chips, sawdust, wood waste, bark, sugarcane bagasse, among other types of biomass.
